Biography
Thomas J. Michener graduated from Richardson in 2017 from the evening part-time program and then clerked for the now-retired Justice Richard W. Pollack of the Hawaiʻi Supreme Court. He started at the Honolulu Department of the Prosecuting Attorney at the beginning of 2018 where he progressed through various sections of the Department, including the Career Criminal Unit. In 2021, Thomas moved to the White Collar unit of the Department where he remains as a prosecutor handling complex, large-dollar-loss financial crimes and computer crimes. He also heads the Department’s wellness committee. Since graduating from Richardson, Thomas has taught the first-year legal research class for the evening part-time program.
