Biography

Hollee Temple is an experienced professional writer and legal writing professor with credits across multiple genres of storytelling. The co-author of Good Enough Is the New Perfect (Harlequin Nonfiction, 2011, HarperCollins 2021 anniversary edition), Hollee spent several years writing a work/life balance column for the American Bar Association Journal and talking work/life balance at speaking engagements across the country. Hollee has worked in teaching and administrative positions in academia since 2003, and published the first edition of her legal research textbook in 2013. 

Hollee holds an online teaching certification from Quality Matters and is a proponent of online legal education. She has taught online for law schools and master of legal studies programs. She spearheaded multiple strategic initiatives at West Virginia University College of Law, where she served as the Director of Special Projects and taught legal writing and legal research classes between 2003-2024. 

Hollee is also a screenwriter, and has multiple projects in various stages of development, including several adaptations of nonfiction books written by her husband, John. Hollee and John have co-written multiple screenplays and produced a staged concert of their first musical, Star Machine, written with their two sons, at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Music in April 2024.
