Mike Wallerstein is a staff attorney and hearings officer for the Hawaii Public Utilities Commission, focusing on power system planning and grid modernization. Prior to joining the Hawaii PUC, he served as a hearing officer for the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities, focusing on net metering, interconnection, and electric vehicles. He also worked as an attorney for the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources, where he negotiated and drafted contracts worth over $90 million in stimulus funds for solar and energy efficiency projects.
