Biography

Professor Mari Cheney is a legal researcher at BakerHostetler LLP, where she is the liaison to the Digital Assets and Data Management group, specializing in privacy laws, data breaches and incident response, cybersecurity, and healthcare compliance. Prior to joining big law, Professor Cheney worked in academia for almost 12 years, and was also a reference librarian at court libraries. She is a frequent author and speaker at national conferences.
