Biography

Mandy Finlay is the new Policy Director with the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). In her previous position as the Director of Public Policy with the Hawaii Children’s Action Network (HCAN), Mandy used strategic advocacy to change laws and policies that perpetuate cycles of inequality and prevent Hawaii’s children from reaching their full potential. Prior to joining HCAN, Mandy worked as the chief lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union of Hawaii. Mandy earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She serves on the board of the Hawaii LGBT Legal Association and volunteers as a docent at the Honolulu Zoo.
