Biography
Jill Gerrard comes to us from California with 20+ years of experience in academia and the private sector working in start-up, non-profit, and technology-based industries providing career related resources within the Silicon Valley marketplace. She has extensive programming experience in developing innovative tools and resources to prepare her clients for the workforce and is highly skilled in helping her clients determine their unique talents and strengths, boost their confidence, and combat imposter syndrome.
For the last 7 years, Jill worked at the Santa Clara University School of Law as the Director of both Student Services advancing health and well-being initiatives and Career Management supporting students and alumni with their legal professional journeys.
Jill’s passion for health and well-being stems from her 10+ years as a fitness trainer and the Jesuit value of “cura personalis” or care for the whole person which is the foundation for her work. Jill is passionate about work-life balance and coaching her clients to find meaningful work.
She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Santa Clara University, a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of San Francisco, and is a certified Health & Life Coach from the Health Coach Institute (ICF accredited).
In her free time, she enjoys walking on the beach with her dogs, swimming in the ocean, doing yoga, reading, and coaching her private clients to live the life they have imagined.
