William S. Richardson School of Law Advancement Fund
What is this fund?
The William S. Richardson School of Law Advancement Fund supports the highest priorities of the school and gives the dean flexibility for responding to unplanned needs and opportunities that may arise throughout the year. The fund enables the dean to invest in time-sensitive initiatives, such as enhanced bar examination support, technological enhancements, website updates, and projects aimed at enhancing the Law School’s reputation.
Contributions to this fund are important and can have far-reaching impact on law students and faculty. This fund can be used to help with travel expenses for conditional events, such as acceptance to conferences or symposia, or winning competitions or awards.
Fund Impact
“This fund is essential in helping me meet the unexpected challenges that inevitably arise outside the budget, and also help me support educational opportunities for our students and faculty,” said UH Law School Dean Camille Nelson. “It gives me the ability to assist students who may be facing a financial crisis that could derail their studies, and to help prevent that from happening.”
