ALUMNI

The William S. Richardson School of Law celebrates its growing community of alumni. Our Career Services office assists alumni with counseling, information, and other resources, including reciprocity services, recruitment events with legal employers, and access to our online job portal. (Please see link to the Career Services Portal below). Graduates may also find out information about the Law School’s Alumni Association, and stay connected with the latest updates on the Richardson community by signing up for Ke Kula Kānāwai, the Law School’s newsletter.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES ON THE HUB

The Hub is Richardson Law’s career services portal. Students and alumni can search for jobs, internships, externships, pro bono, and post-graduation opportunities, make appointments with the Career Services office, store application materials, sign up for RAP sessions, career events, and more.

Life after Richardson: Meet Our Alumni

Our alumni are practicing law in a variety of fields, locations, and situations in Hawai‘i and beyond. Their backgrounds and experiences—along with their dedication to our profession—contribute to the richness of our community. Learn about the accomplishments of our alumni below.

Ete Bowl: A Thirty-Year Tradition

One hot day in September 1978, Diane Ho was sitting in the library wondering how she would endure the rest of her third (she thought, boring) year. While checking her weekly parlay sheets, she was struck with the idea of having a women’s intra-class athletic challenge. Diane shared her thought with classmate Ricki Amano, and together they chose football, the game they knew best.

RECRUITMENT

Hiring Opportunities for Employers

Our Career Services Office provides many opportunities for legal employers to network with and recruit our alumni. Legal employers are invited to host information sessions, Open Houses, and receptions both on-campus or at employer offices. The Law School’s alumni may access various resources and programs, including: On-Campus Interviews (OCIs), Launch-a-Lawyer, Career Day Series, Career Alternatives Series, Employer Open Houses, and various Career Panels and Programs.
