CLE Opportunity: Second Annual Avi Soifer Lecture Featuring Professor Risa Goluboff

Thanks to a generous gift from the Hundt Family Foundation and others, we are honored to welcome Professor Risa Goluboff as the speaker for the second annual Soifer Lecture series.
Risa Goluboff is a renowned legal historian whose scholarship and teaching focus on American constitutional and civil rights law. She served as the 12th, and first female, dean of the University of Virginia School of Law from 2016–2024.
Professor Goluboff will explore the timely and thought-provoking question:
“What does it mean for Americans to revere the law, and how does such reverence interact with the American tradition of critique, dissent, and protest?”
Inspired by Abraham Lincoln’s Lyceum Address, her lecture promises to be an engaging historical discussion that sheds light on the rule of law in society today.
This event is open to the Richardson community at no cost; however, attorneys seeking 1 CLE credit must pay a $50 fee and attend the entire event (partial credit is not available for this session).
This event will be in McCorriston Miller Mukai Classroom (CR 3), and livestreamed on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, beginning at 4 p.m. HST.
