‘Pluralizing’ Legal Professional Identity: Democracy, Equity, Justice, and the Legal Curriculum
This Fall, the William S. Richardson School of Law is proud to share a national webinar series organized by Professor Eduardo R.C. Capulong in collaboration with the Association of American Law Schools (AALS). The series will bring together leading scholars to explore how law schools shape professional identity and the rule of law at a critical moment for democracy, equity, and justice.
With law, lawyers, and legal institutions at the forefront of protecting democracy and the rule of law, and with the most diverse and some of the largest cohorts of students entering law schools, law teachers have the unique opportunity and responsibility to explore and study the values and guiding principles animating our profession and society more broadly. In this series of workshops this Fall, law teachers and scholars from across the country will discuss legal professional identity in various contexts and the implications of how we define and teach it in the current context.
All sessions are free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
